The price came down by $1,500 * 2
Depending on the TA, the ticket may be restricted to no change residuals in the fare rules. UA waives that rule for ticket purchased from UA or select NDC TAs.

I tried calling and hit a brick wall just wondering if I'm mistaken
This change occurred about went UA went to no change fees.
