pedantic but if it’s the one on your photo it’s a Lalande de Pomerol, not a Pomerol. It’s nice too but different “appellation”, different styles of wines and most decidedly different prices
as I said in the other thread it’s a decent bottle, but Pomerol (even the cheapest ones) would have been N entirely different ballgame.
Thanks for the elaboration. Yes it was the Lalande de Pomerol, the satellite appellation and therefore cheaper and indeed. Still a nice wine specially as the welcome gift. It is also the hotel’s “signature” that they advertise with internally.
