Well, a stay in the world’s 2nd tallest building is always going to be special to me. Fortunately, I generally liked the hotel, as well. Here are my impressions and (lots of) photos from my stay yesterday and this morning:

Pros:

• Only suite type available was Park Deluxe - there were Studios, too - but I really liked the view from my Deluxe room upgrade
• Room design is pleasant
• Bed is very comfortable - plush mattress, plush covers, plush pillows
• Shower pressure was good and I had no issues with hot water
• Lovely views
• Tasty welcome gift with truffles, cake, and kombucha
• Towels were large
• Lovely setting and super high up
• Elevators are fast and smooth
• Walkable to Chinatown
• No issue with 4 PM checkout
• Breakfast is generally good - though I actually liked the GH breakfast better

Neutral:

• My dosa at breakfast took a long time to arrive

Cons:

• Some staining on sheet and pillow cases - I find this typical in KL - even the replacement duvet cover still had some small stains (I lived with it)

I would definitely come back.
