Ibis Bilbao centro (Spain)

Name of the hotel: Ibis Bilbao centro (Spain)

- What is your ALL status? Diamond

- Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes. I would have preferred to go to the Mercure, but it was super expensive. Note that the Ibis was not cheap too (125€/night with ALL Plus Voyageur discount, so it’s definitely not cheap). But I certainly cannot complain about this Ibis stay. It was a short one-night stay, so I didn’t care too much.

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive ? Booked Standard room and was upgraded to Premium room

- How are the rooms? The premium room was quite large (24 m2, i.e. twice the size of Standard rooms), with a sofa, which is something very rare at Ibis. View was nothing to write home about (to not say a bit depressing), bu as I didn’t stay long, it did not matter. Comfy bed, very good noise insulation. See picture of the room.

- What was good and what was bad?

Good: large comfortable room, very nice welcome by staff, decent breakfast buffet.

Bad: : sincerely, nothing bad

- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? no lounge

- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks : no welcome amenity. I didn’t have time to use the drink voucher

- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Yes if price is OK and significantly lower than the Mercure
