In addition to the pricing model maybe not producing optimal prices for AC, it surely can't be optimal for them to need to have someone working on manually pricing an itinerary for 45 minutes every time I want to make a simple change to a multi-city trip (which the PR system strongly incentivises) that dares to have an AC metal flight on it.
