But they currently don't have access to any of the CCDRs on the network, including the new lounges in DXB or MIA.
Just as they are not assigned to Group 0 for boarding on BA either.
Of course if AA wanted to reliably and consistently treat GGL in the same way as CK on their network, then BA could choose to do the same.
But right now they don't. The CCR access is an anomaly to the benefit of AA CK IMO.
