Yeah i think this is good actually. Most of the flights i pay for, i book 4-6 weeks out. What am i doing six Tuesdays from now? Who knows?? But i _do_ know what i'm doing tomorrow. Yes i would like to be offered a nominal amount to be able to attend an extra event i got an invite to yesterday. Helps the airline too. Win-win. If you don't want to take the change, don't take it.
