Account and points expiration

Atmos Rewards points do not have an expiration date and may remain in an account indefinitely, provided that the Atmos Rewards program has not been terminated pursuant to these conditions of membership.

So have they finally gotten rid of the confusing and IMHO unnecessary “inactivity lock” of accounts after two years that effectively could still lead to forfeiture of app points if you didn’t contact them within a certain period of time?
