It can be temperamental and I have also been able to get them directly from the IB site.

I googled code share routes ex EU by airline to find IB codeshare ex France Germany and Italy with QR.

i have also got it to work ex Asia for BA on QR and CX but connecting to BA in HKG.

if this doesn’t work then a good travel agent should be able to help. In the brave new world of FFP programmes this is the new game I suspect!
Weirdly none of my flights ever come up with any other than the airline metal I'm flying. But as another user suggested, it might be because of my routes and the fact that I'm not passing any of BA, AA or IB's home airports.
