When you say international, is this short haul North America? (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, ...) that is the only case where a CPU (on the international segment) would then make you eligible for lounge access. Other long haul international flights, TATL, TPAC, ..., are not CPU eligible
That's correct; US to Canada/Mexico on thin E175 routes as a Sliver. Usually I do get the upgrade at T-24 but on this specific flight the open seats in first were less than usual. The UC just let me show them my *G card and keep my UA number on the booking for at gate clearing.
