I tried to enter the Amex Aspire lounge at YUL yesterday. No line up at all, but was greeted outside by someone who asked me if I had Amex Platinum. She told me there were at least six spots for Amex cardholders (which I am not). As an AC SE, I had no priority, and was told I would have to go on a wait list (I was not given an estimate of how long). I politely declined. I am disappointed that this is the alternative that AC offers while it's MLL is closed. I did not bother with the Cafe this time.

I do not know how others had an AC person inviting them in - I didn't even get past the door, and definitely didn't see anyone from AC. A big thumbs down from this FTer!
