I agree. While AS might include Apt 1929 lounge concept in the future, Apt 1929 lounge was fee based, likely too small, and did not fit into the lounge vision of the current leaders. Alaska is likely developing a brand new lounge experience for international travelers to include more premium amenities, including showers, food, and upgraded beverages that can be offered at both locations. AS will likely consider SEA and HNL to be the international gateway for these lounges. Knowing neither location have such upgraded features yet, I would expect AS to be announcing them in the future when finalized.

Don't be surprised, if Lounge+ wasn't included for access. Just like DeltaOne, United Polaris, and American Flagship Lounges, Airlines' lounge membership exclude access to these premium lounges.
