I booked ET501 IAD-ADD in May 2026 as part of NH RTW itinerary but now want to postpone it for a few days. Turns out all 501s have no open seat. Only 517 which is likely equipped with angled flat (and I don't see any retrofit being done in the 788 fleet). Also I have to spend a night in ADD doing nothing after semi sleeping in flight for 16 hours doing nothing.

Wonder if ET will release more J seats at the last minute like NH or UA? Or it's highly unlikely? Actually UA/AC still has J seats on ET501 most days. Just NH doesn't have them.

BTW, I noted the ET website shows all 788s have 30 cloud nine seats but only have 4 rows of 6.
