You’re conflating quality of the seat with how they’re packed. It is actually a larger, more comfortable seat than the Polaris seats. And rear-facing does slightly elevate head. Unfortunately, the better seats are packed more densely than the Polaris seats. It’s a trade-off - better seat or more privacy (and all-aisle access).
I don’t like the HD seat arrangement, but I remind myself it’s a better seat. I prefer window seats on the HD because you have a place to stuff pillows/blankets.
