NextGen train 2154, the 7am from WAS to BOS was cancelled today due to "unavailability of equipment." I was due to get on at NYP (in paid F) for BOS and received a text at 6am. The link to rebook was not working; the Select Executive line doesn't open until 8am; and the general phone line had a 1+ hour wait. So I gave up, applied for a refund, and booked a flight on UA from EWR to BOS. I saved $50 and got home two hours earlier.

It's sad that NextGen trains are being cancelled with no back-up set (of either type) available.
