As we say in Hawaii, if can can. If can't, can't. <shrug>. I was just saying it would be courteous to do it so people aren't taking useless actions. You don't have to go to THAT GA, you could let the GA at your arrival gate know. You may not have the time to do that if you're in a rush (I'm usually not in a rush when I get to my intended terminal point but your mileage may vary), I'm just tossing this out there for people to consider when they're in OP's situation.
