If I make a reservation while I am gold status and then subsequently make platinum status, does anyone know if I need to do anything to ensure the status for the existing reservation is accurate? I know some systems attach status at the time the reservation is made, others do not and pull status at the time of check-in. I'm not sure how Marriott does it, but I'd be interested to find out if anyone does know.
