Update…
1. Response from Hilton can be paraphrased as “hotels can set their own policies”
2. I woke up to multiple fraudulent charges on this credit card from businesses in the city in which this hotel is located… pizza delivered from a chain 0.5 miles from the hotel, local utility bill, etc.
Should be a fun morning on the phone with AMEX. We’re checking into a resort stay tonight and the loss of this CC# will impact the resort credit, etc.
