This will move some of my business to BA as the free exit row was one of the main perks for me. I guess that this means more free seats in the exit row at check-in, where they will probably still be free of charge.
That's true for shorthaul flights. On longhaul flights (WT or WT+), BA will charge Silver/OWS to sit at the exit row
