I am no expert but I have been booking IB codeshares on QR metal and did so from Google flights.

It can be temperamental and I have also been able to get them directly from the IB site.

I googled code share routes ex EU by airline to find IB codeshare ex France Germany and Italy with QR.

i have also got it to work ex Asia for BA on QR and CX but connecting to BA in HKG.

if this doesn’t work then a good travel agent should be able to help. In the brave new world of FFP programmes this is the new game I suspect!
