Recently made the trek from FRA to IAD on my birthday. Not only was there a card and cake waiting for me at my seat, the card was signed by the entire crew - and I’m pretty sure every single crew member came and wished me happy birthday. If that wasn’t enough, one of the ground/gate crew came and found my seat and explained that he had tried to spot me in the terminal but somehow I slipped by him, so he just had to come onboard and wish me HBD personally. Mind blown.


It’s not that the «cake» was the best, but truly, in this case, it’s the thought that counts.
