So, whilst this thread I added a question about when I'm travelling alone, I have travelled with a small child on this plane before. Key thing is whether your infant can use the bassinet or not. I've not used the bassinet seat on this particular plane as my children got too big too quickly.
Main point is that you need to be aware that 1A+1E are angled in a way that you can't necessarily see each other very easily - Aerolopa shows this quite well:
https://www.aerolopa.com/qr-789. If choosing between the two we have tended to do the 1A/2A on similar set-ups, as I'd rather we all have the window seat, and easy to move between - plus a child can be raised above 1A to wave at 2A - even if the mini suite doors are closed. (though now we have kids needing seats we do a kind of 1A/2A/1E/2E kinda config.. and often 2E can see 1A more easily.
However, if you don't need a bassinet I prefer the back of the cabin for this particular config (8A/8K etc) as it provides a close by open space where kids can play about a bit right behind you, its easy to get to the toilet and the snacks can be more easily accessed. Plus you can stand up and get a crying infant away from others if needed.
