I think the Million miles have something to do with the influx of EBG, which makes EBG like a handout status - not to mention all the LT EBG out there too. SK is the only non-US airline I have seen that have more elites than nobody flying in Y. Long haul service in SK is close to LCC and why would anyone fly with them without status?

Apparently KLM has learned the SK cheapness too - apparently they are testing buy on board concept - so only tea and coffee free like SK.
