On October 14, 2025, Alaska and Hawaiian will commence the Passenger Service System (PSS) transition process in preparation for the operational cutover from Amadeus to Sabre, which is scheduled to occur during the night of April 21, 2026. This transition will mark the point when new Hawaiian Airlines (HA) bookings for travel after this date will be processed through Alaska’s Sabre partition. At the time of cutover, a schedule update will be performed to publish Hawaiian-branded Alaska flights, and all existing bookings in Hawaiian’s Amadeus (1A) partition will be migrated to Sabre (1S). HA flights ticketed on 173 with travel dates up to April 21, 2026, will continue to be serviced in Amadeus.
The PSS cutover aims to ensure seamless operations for guests traveling between the two carriers. Integration efforts include unified travel applications and the ability for guests to check bags through the combined network.
Also interesting from that same page:
Although flight numbers departing on or after April 22, 2026, will be displayed to guests as Alaska flights, the Hawaiian brand will remain present. The operating disclosure (DEI127 in the SSIM file) “Operated by Alaska as Hawaiian Airlines” will distinguish the Hawaiian-branded experience from the Alaska-branded one. The Hawaiian brand will be visible throughout the airport journey, ensuring consistency from shopping to travel. Efforts are ongoing with airports to display the Hawaiian Airlines logo on all relevant signage and display systems. For a consistent shopping experience, it is requested that the HA icon be shown for Hawaiian-branded departures wherever iconography appears. All branded assets are available upon request.
