I just can't fathom why a simple points conversion from credit card to Asia Miles will trigger a suspension. Especially when it's an option they gave us. Sounds like CX is just being overly sensitive to fraud here and wrongfully affect innocent victims in the process.
No anxiety, we just took it as a regular verification and didn't consider it as more serious, points were sent from HSBC China, name matching of course, we are often behind a VPN to access internent being base in the mainland, copy of the passport was submitted took a few days to process and that was it
