I called Cathay on Monday and they said background team blocked my account and gave me the member terms.

I was really surprised, because they should be tracking people who often use miles to redempt tickets, not people like me who have only used them twice.
Just curious. Where were you located and where was your friend located when she login to your account
Maybe that's one of the reason. Eg they see ur location being so far from the second login it might have been hacked. Especially when the second login also changed travel details
