YVR is such a significantly better departure and arrival experience than SEA.
I wish Alaska was this good. Of course, the only issue I have to deal with is the incorrect crediting of the ticket to AS. It went as 50% EQM/RDM despite booking this on the AS website on 027 stock. Should have earned 100%/100% if I am reading the partner charts correctly.
all 027 ticketed Porter flights should post as follows.
All Porter classic (main) fares - 100percent.
all Porter reserve (premium) fares - 150 percent.
I have had to call pretty much every time to correct this with CC.
also. Porter award tickets by Alaska. Earn like revenue per the partner chart. ?!? I told them about it 2 months ago (cuz I was shorted eqm and needed those more than RDm). They never fixed it. I fly again this Saturday to yow. Let’s see if the miles rebate loophole is still open.
so when I burn 22.5k miles for Porter reserve. I earn 6213 miles when it posts. So effective costing 16.3k. Which is cheaper than main fares at 17.5k and the rebate on those fares would only be 3.1k. So effective would be 14.4k. So reserve only costs less than 2k up charge. (You get free bags food and seat selection). Well worth the 2k differential.
