I am glad that they are staffing them and not making them self-service. This alone will stop a lot of stupid behavior.

Reminds me of an internship a few years ago in the valley - someone would keep taking tons of sodas from the fridge (far more than any one person could drink). They changed the machine to now charge $0.05 instead of it being free and put a jar of nickels next to the machine. Still free, but if you want to take 50 cans home, you'd be there a long, long time.

In addition to lease costs, the reduction in staff needed is another massive savings. Looks like a win-win for customers and AA.
