I couldn't buckle my seat belt till I noticed it's a claw instead of the usual rectangle shape.
Then I saw the rectangle connector and buckled my seat belt.

What's the claw for?
And why is it only my seat? (Aisle seat a couple rows behind exit row)
I don't see the claw on other seats near me
