Just worried that it wouldn’t take much for my MQT-ORD flight to be delayed and I’d be screwed for the onward. I know in theory AA should protect me but fat lot of good if all the other flights that evening are full.
Anyway if you are a regular O’Hare user do you think I should ask AA if they’ll out me on an earlier MQT-ORD flight (even if then a long layover which I don’t mind) or just stick to original plan and que sera sera. I don’t want to be stuck in Chicago a day or two, I need to get home. Thanks.
Unless you're a top elite at AA (EXP or CK) I doubt that AA will proactively rebook you now. However, if the day before travel ORD is reporting delays due to staffing then you might get AA to budge.
