The Labua looks interesting, especially the tower club. Those high floor river view suites with balcony definitely seem like they would offer the best view.
Is it a good hotel though? Reviews seem quite mixed…
Well you're asking about Millenium Hilton and ROS so it seems like you're willing to sacrifice something on the service side for the fireworks view, which makes sense, particularly if you can get a single night.
If you want great service and a front row seat, go with MO. Though I shudder to think of what the pricing must be . . . we're looking at the following weekend and the cheapest rooms are a grand a night.

One thing you could consider which, granted, is a bit further away but still on the river so should have good views too: Four Seasons or Capella.
Those are both pretty far away.
