Looking at booking a separate ticket:

FLR to FRA on Air Dolomiti, lands at 8:10AM in FRA
FRA to CLT on American, departs at 10:50AM in FRA

We would have checked bags, and I’d be traveling with my (older, slow-moving) parents. Is this relatively safe to do so long as I’m there to help, or is it risky?

Also my assumption is when we land we go straight to baggage claim (no immigration needed because coming from EU), get bags, take shuttle to the other terminal, check-in bags, clear security again, clear immigration, get to gate. Is that the right flow of events?
