I think this is probably the pro choice, although I’ve booked into the Holiday Inn Express, which was a bit of a bargain bundled with the flight via BA Holidays, and the free breakfast won me over it’s a few mins walk in the fresh air from TLS, which I'm sure will be most welcome after quaffing CX’s finest bubbles!
