Walking at a reasonable pace it is 10 minutes from collecting bags to the station. After collecting bags you exit the building, turn right, and re-enter T2. Head up the escalator and come out by the jet.com check in area. Turn left and the long walk to the station.
Add to the 10 minutes the journey from the plane.
20 minutes from plane to train while waiting for luggage seems very reasonable to me. I also remember that awful long walk from T3 to the train station via T1 in the wind and rain… I won’t miss that!
