Well overall a pleasant morning flying out of T2.

Like I said in my earlier post, outbound in Y with no lounge access this is night and day a much much nicer terminal. Things seemed to be moving pretty quickly/efficiently this morning, but maybe that’s just because the Menzies staff are aware they’re being watched by some BA staff.

Of note, pushing back seemed much quicker to go from gate to actually moving forward than it was in T3. About 18 mins from gate to runway.

Dreading the return tomorrow PM, seems that the long term plans are normal gates and then busing for arrivals (see the earlier post I made of buses taking the inbound away shortly before we boarded).

Whether everything was so smooth because BA had people overseeing? Who knows, if it stays like it did today for departing i’ll be happy enough
