TPE - US (especially west coast US) is due for over saturation. There are more nonstop flights between SFO, LAX, SEA and TPE than ever, and PHX is about to come online in December 2025 for CI and JX, which would reduce the need for connections such as on UA ex-PHX. I was in SEA over the summer catching a flight at one of its satellite terminals, and I counted 6 or 7 nonstop flights on the board to TPE between BR, CI, DL, and JX.

Looks like more capacity between TPE-US than HKG-US or SIN-US.
TPE and IAD airport authority just recently signed a MoU to promote direct flights between the two airports.
BR just started DFW-TPE this week. Looks like there is enough high-tech business between Taiwan and Texas. Maybe UA can be creative to start IAH to TPE.
