As for a visa, I am not sure. They may not let you board the flight, unless you can demonstrate that you only have a layover. P.S. I had real trouble getting the Uzbekistan e-visa site to work. I eventually paid an agency and they did it.
Yea, same here. Applying for the visa was a breeze but they never gave me one. I would have a connecting flight so that won't be a problem since the hotel is Air side.
