As promised, here is my review of my 3-night stay in August.
The hotel is brand new. Open for only 35 days, as I recall. Another highlight is there is a complimentary shuttle from YXY to the hotel. Also operates on the rtn. This is a bff o the ig deal since taxia charge $23 CAD. Check in was speedy. Nice after a long day of flying.
My room on the top (5th floor) was spacious and the wifi was great. Suites are available. I have no Hyatt status so I did not ask further, Ice machines on the 2nd and 4th floors have yet to arrive Welcome to the Yukon!
The fitness area was 24 h and basic.
Breakfast was not included. I was quoted a rate with breakfast but this vanished. I ate off the premises at the Yukon Inn next door.
I also had a billing issue which took awhile to resolve.
One final plus. Accommodation is expensive in Whitelhorse so the property welcomes its HK staff to stay on the property. Nice!
Bottom line - a nice new property but check your bill after your stay I.e, they make mistakes.
