There is an airside hotel. The airport is surprisingly nice overall.
As for a visa, I am not sure. They may not let you board the flight, unless you can demonstrate that you only have a layover. P.S. I had real trouble getting the Uzbekistan e-visa site to work. I eventually paid an agency and they did it.
