I was referring to the distance (in miles) reported by the app: what database was used. This distance is used for the calculation of Miles on Flying Blue partners and codeshare flight numbers on AF/KL aircraft along with the cabin booking earning percentage and the elite bonus earning percentage. I have compared the app's distances for a bunch of city-pairs I've flown and when I back-calculate from the credited Miles to the distance FB used then mostly the app does not match.
I'm typing on my tiny phone now, but will provide examples later when I get to my laptop.
This is completely separate to the spend-based earning on AF/KL flight numbers.
