I wouldn’t recommend the Sunchrony Cathay Pacific because the sign up bonus is only 38,888 points (got this years ago when it was 50,000 and cancelled after a year).
You DO get points towards status- but it’s very low, spend $5000 to get 10 status points (evidently 1200 status points required for diamond).
One interesting category is 1.5 Asia miles per dollar for all international purchases, although the premium Alaska card now gets 3 points per dollar for overseas purchases.

If you are really spending $200,000/ year, and don’t want to juggle multiple cards, I strongly suggest the Chase Hyatt business card. Spending $200,000 will get you 100 nights towards status- this will get you two 1-7 certificates (one each at 60 and 100 nights), AA plat status to use on Cathay (at 100), a 1-4 certificate (at 30), four SWUs (at 50 and 60 nights), and 35,000 points (10K each at 70, 80 and 90 nights, as well as 5K at 40 nights). Just the extra milestone awards will get you the equivalent of 105,000 Hyatt points, meaning you’re earning equivalent of 1.5 Hyatt points per dollar; if you value a Hyatt point at even 1.5 cpp this is 2.25% back. The globalist benefits of late checkout, free breakfast, upgrades/ better treatment are just icing on the cake.

FWIW I hold a biz plat and personal plat for the coupons/ credits but never spend anything on them. If you value the 85,000 Marriott certificate, nerf the AMEX brilliant and get a Chase Marriott to product change to the Ritz Carlton (I hold this one too); the $450 annual fee minus the $300 easy to use airline credit means you’re “paying” just $150 for the 85,000 point annual award.
You've given me much to think about, thank you so much!
