This is really confusing...
I have a flight tomorrow EDI-LHR-JFK. Flight EDI-LHR is in about 23 hours, flight LHR-JFK in 27 hours.
I thought I could check in 24 hours before the flight. Two things that got me confused:
- The check-in website says that my travel documents are not valid for this flight. Which is odd, because I had filled them in properly in MMB, I have ESTA, Global Entry, and the same passport I have used for all my numerous trips to the in the past 4 years
- I just continued the process, and indeed I do get a boarding pass EDI-LHR which says that all my documents are OK. SO which one is it? They are valid or not? This is what it says on the BP:

- However, I can only get a boarding pass for EDI-LHR, not for LHR-JFK. Is that because that flight leaves in more than 24 hours? If so, will OLCI work in a few hours although I have already checked in the first leg? Or is the reason that the paperwork for the LHR-JFK needs to be checked at the airport and I cannot do OLCI at all for the LHR-JFK leg?
It's all very confusing. Thanks for any help.
PS: this flight is in First Class, I know there is a dedicated You First phone number, where can I find that? Since I am crediting this flight to my new AY membership, I don't know if I can call the Gold line (I am still Gold)?
