- Have never used miles+cash upgrades, but ran out of PPs
- Will ticket, then apply miles+cash for the outbound (there is a good price for Polaris for the return, about $3k for economy to EZE and Polaris back)
- It is my understanding that my daughter will inherit my status for the trip, i.e., our upgrade positions should be adjacent? (until T-24)
- Upgrades will only be processed for both of us (until T-24)?
- The odds of wonky outcomes, e.g., I getting upgraded to Polaris, she to PE, are 0?
- At T-24, the PNR will be split? I’ll have to call to prevent that – remove the upgrade request just before T-24? (sitting together>>upgrade)
Bonus question – are the estimated odds better on 12/15 or 12/16?
