Called to cancel the second leg of a straightforward Avios return ticket (at T-25h) and was told that once I had flown the outbound flight, no Avios would be refunded and the £35 change fee would equal the refund due. Is that correct?

I ended up cancelling online (still before 24h before the flight) and am now curious.
