Back in the days, when these Empower (the ones with the proprietary plug) plugs and the first 110V Outlets pushed into the seats, this is exactly what happened.

Look back 15-20 years and that's exactly what happened.

The question is what other chargers will do in the long run. Catching fire? Break ways sooner? - Maybe Anker took in reality a very conservative approach and will fix it in the future. But you need devices in field to get experience with these small form factor devices.
