From experience US cars often have sat nav, but it might depend on what car category you have booked - it’s more likely on a large car. Having said that, increasingly cars these days also require CarPlay or similar rather than having systems built in. Avis staff are often helpful in choosing a car with particular features if you ask, and especially keen to sell you upgrades!
