Thanks CIHY. They have said all of those seats are occupied (and keep insisting that I am in an extra legroom seat, which I know not to be true. They say the (BA!) seatmaps aren’t what they work from…)

Does EF show them all occupied?
In which case I may be tempted to throw good money after bad and POUG to CE on the outbound, if I did this would I be eligible for a full refund on the outbound seat (I paid £41 each way for seats, which would soften the blow of POUG)

I know it may make sense to wait until nearer the flight, but I was on the same flight last year and the same thing happened, fortunately at the check in desk an extra legroom opened up and I pounced but that was sheer luck.
