well usually the crew can put the seat into sleep postion manually - every business class seat on the market has hidden manual switches the crew can operate. didn't they put your seat into sleep position? and if there is another free seat in business class they will give you a new seat.

TK customer service is underwhelming and very "funny" sometimes (known issue) - as well as customer service of all the Middle East Airlines
all this rage because of not enough compensation? what did you expect? 13.000 miles is the usual compensation for such an incident. heard of people who were offered less.

lesson to be learnt - always check the features of your seat on the ground where technical staff can fix them (they once did for me in KUL).

BTW - if you are an executive of a company and book flights for your employees you should have a corporate club contract with turkish airlines. then you get a personal TK representative at the closest TK office who can handle such issues/complaints much better than customer agents.

BTW - have fun of being Qatar'd out of Q-Suites the very last minute
