I spent a few nights there in early 2020 and I'm pretty sure I wrote a review about it with details on how to get there from Yogyakarta by train, pictures of the suite and club lounge. Don't see a thread for the property, though, and no signs of my review. At the time, it was a great hotel, and outstanding value with rates around $50. Solo doesn't hold much excitement, some malls, but absolutely nothing must-see. I worked remotely at the time and occasionally spent 2-3 weeks in places like Yogyakarta or even Lombok, but even at that pace, Solo is not a destination for more than a couple days. Anyone with a busier schedule can easily give it a miss.
