One major change, or something I hadn't noticed before. The underseat storage space for the aisle seats is considerably narrower than the middle or window seats. I was flying with my eBags Motherlode Jr backpack about 2/3 full. Found 4C open and sat down, could not fit the backpack into the area designed for storage. Moved back to the overwing exit row and in the aisle couldn't fit it, no problem in the window and could even put it sideways in the middle.
That has been like that for years on the -700s, -800s and MAX8s: the C and D seats have little underseat storage space because of how the legs are arranged. I have not noticed the legs to be in a different position in the first five or so rows on planes with the new configuration.
